Had a really last minute reading at Studio Tenn yesterday (THANKS, Matt Logan for arranging it!) for my new show, Forget Edwin Booth. A bunch of talented folks, and it's great to be able to hear it out loud. This is the first time I've written the book (i.e. dialog) for a musical on my own. So, nerve-wracking as it was to hear out loud, I feel okay. Of course, plenty of re-writing to do, but I look forward to it, seriously. I love this gig.
